Films: Knights of Badassdom (2013)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: LARPing is an...interesting hobby. Some people are just really into doing medieval-style RPGs in a big way. To which we say good for them. Just hope that they know what they're getting themselves into when crap like this happens.
History: A bunch of LARP enthusiasts, down on their luck and constantly bullied by paintball jocks, decide to come together for a truly immersive experience away from all their troubles. Unfortunately, one of them unknowingly recites an ancient Enochian spell that brings forth a succubus greatly resembling one's ex-girlfriend, Beth. As she kills the LARPers one-by-one, the rest realize that they are no longer playing pretend.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After they accidentally turn the succubus into a demonic monster, she goes on the warpath, attacking LARPer and paintballer alike. But she is finally brought down when one of the LARPers recites a demon-banishing encantation...through HEAVY METAL! Thus, a combination of lightning and Peter Dinklage in a knight costume send the monster back to Hell.
Powers/Abilities: Near-invulnerability.
Weakness: Certain spells, particularly if it's done in song form.
Scariness Factor: 4-As a humanoid, "Beth" is a violent seductress with plenty of bodies at her feet. But then magic goes wrong, and her new form, while a bit evocative of a Power Rangers villain, is still nonetheless a grotesque demon. Seeing it effortlessly massacre people is not pretty, to say the least.
Trivia: -Director Joe Lynch wants nothing to do with the final product, seeing how it was mercilessly re-edited and delayed by execs.
-At one point, the monster is believed to be a Mind Flayer by a panicked LARPer. This is of course ignoring the fact that D&D Mind Flayers look more like anthropomorphic cephalopod sorcerers than they do demons. Also, do not google with filters off. NSFW all the way.
